Bowl full of lemons - Weekly challenge 3- RECIPE BINDER

week three challenge over at BFOL
BFOL w3 is to make a recipe binder!. now i already have one of these, its just not highly functioning because it has  a lot stuffed in it! and its not pretty!
 ok so its "pretty" its just not stylish LOL ( currently its winne the pooh flavoured ;))
maybe another trip to officeworks is called for ( OOOH NOOOOOs!)
that could be dangerous to the other current organisation task i'm doing this year... budgeting!
I have a weakness for officworks... its shameful... lol !  long before scrapbooking entered australia  i collected mountains of stickers and pens and different types of papers.... ah stationary high oh how i love you. Starting school each year was the best part because i got to make everything match and look pretty and try all the new pens.... yes i'm almost hyperventalating now just thinking about it... sad ... oh so sad.

anyhow back on topic... This is my recipe mag stack
hidding in one of the cubes of the tv cabinet.

but what most people don't know is that there is also another sneaky stack in the chest in the corner of the lounge room





see that sneaky pile in there? along with my actual binder  about 3 notebooks the old family recipe book that i want to type out some wrapping paper and a tonne of craft mags





but this one stack is food.. yummy yummy food.

 this is the non-styish culprit i will raid the stash for one looking a little better i think...

and this is the super old family binder.... hand written or mimeographed ( gotta love the 80;s)


so... lets see what we can do with this hey>?

Launch pad - ABFOL weekly challenge 2

 

as we are in the middle of renovations we dont have an entry of any kind 

yes i know this sounds odd but at the moment we are coming in through downstairs's( my mothers half of this house)  side door and up the internal stairs.... so for the moment until we HAVE a front door and an "entry" this is the launch pad for now... I will come back with new updates later.

Dish is split for me an him stores keys and phone and wallet

and at the time of this photo codral, packing tape, and a binder thats heading to the organising pile :D

and although this is in the corner of the lounge YES that is part of the kitchen cabnets sitting to the left on the floor there! told ya we're in the middle of major renos LOL

So Toni over at  a bowl full of lemons has a weekly challenge going.
I came across it a little bit late( she jsut started challenge #2)
anyhow challenge 1 is a Home management binder
I already have one of these from dabbling in Flylady but I was thinking it needed a bit of an over haul.

Here is my binder as it was...

this is just an A5 binder

 Daily to do list split into

phonecalls

personal stuff

errands

projects

house control

 the daily calender
i have specific chores set for specific times and days

 Daily routine broken into
morning routine
afternoon routine
& evening routine

with a couple of routine variations for the days DH is working midnight shifts

 Menu planning and recipe collection

 House split into zones and the calander coded to work on those zones in specific weeks

 what to do in those zones

gift lists and wish lists
